My kids picked up "la mariposa" and "el perro" in one afternoon, mostly because they had to match the picture to the word they heard. The pronunciation on the calling cards is clear enough that I finally stopped second-guessing my own accent. Good mix of everyday vocabulary too, not just random noun
The audio pronunciation was the selling point for me—my daughter hears the word while matching the picture, and she's already saying "manzana" around the house. The card images are clear enough for her to recognize without any English hints.
My kids fight over who gets to be the caller because they love pressing the audio button and hearing the words pronounced. It’s been a sneaky way to get them practicing Spanish without any complaining.
