Frog Hopkins Board Game

The rules scaled perfectly for my kids and their friends—even the youngest picked it up in minutes. I love watching them plan their frog hops and block each other for dragonflies.

We pulled this out after dinner and ended up playing four rounds straight. The rules are simple enough that my seven-year-old grasped them in one turn, but the dragonfly scoring keeps adults thinking. Hopping your frog to cut off someone else's path is way more satisfying than it sounds.

The blocking mechanic got surprisingly cutthroat once we figured out you can hop over an opponent's frog to steal their dragonfly spot. Instructions took five minutes, but the strategy keeps unfolding each round.
