The little tin is sturdier than I expected, and the dinosaur art on the lid makes it fun to leave out on the table. Colors go down smooth and blend nicely in the watercolor pad I already had.

The brush that came with this set is actually decent, which caught me off guard for a kids' art kit. My son painted three dinos right out of the box and the colors stayed vibrant even after they dried on the page.

The brush glides smoothly and the colors stay vibrant even after they dry, which is exactly what I wanted for my kid’s first real set. We’ve already used it three times this week and the paint pans still look full.
