Seashells Watercolor Pencils & Pad

I've been using watercolor pencils on cheap paper for years and the difference here is obvious — the pH-neutral sheets don't buckle even when I go in with a wet brush. The shell illustrations on the pad itself are pretty enough that I almost felt bad painting over them.

The paper takes the pigment beautifully without warping, and the shell illustrations on the cover are even prettier in person. I’ve already used it for a few quick studies and the colors blend just as smoothly as I hoped. Solid set overall, and the bundle price made it easy to justify the splurge.
