My four-year-old learned the difference between a toucan and a macaw thanks to these cards, which I didn't expect from a simple matching game. The twenty-four pairs are sturdy enough to survive her enthusiastic shuffling, and we've turned it into a bedtime ritual of naming the wildlife.

The illustrations of the animals are what sold me, and my four-year-old now knows the difference between a toucan and a macaw because of the 24 pairs. We play it after dinner most nights and she beats me about half the time.

My kids actually ask to play this, which never happens with our other games. The 24 different animals are beautifully drawn and my 5-year-old has learned names like toucan and sloth without me teaching her. The pieces are sturdy enough to survive a toddler too.
