I hung the finished 24-foot chain across our whole mantel and it barely used up half the links. The paper is sturdy enough that none of the loops tore while my kids were stringing them. Twenty-four feet of spring color for that price is a steal.

Putting together these 120 links was a fun family activity, and the 24-foot chain filled our whole mantel with cheerful spring

The 24 feet of chain was way more than I expected, and it draped perfectly across our whole mantel. Each link is a good sturdy weight too, not flimsy like the dollar store kind. My kids spent a rainy afternoon putting it together and it's still hanging a week later.
