My kids actually ask to play this, which never happens with board games. Matching the bees to flowers by color and number keeps my 4-year-old busy while my 7-year-old still strategizes. The pieces have held up fine after a month of rowdy play.

The flower-choosing part is what sold me — my niece picks hers by shape while her brother goes by number, so they both feel like they're winning. Simple enough that nobody needs to reread the rules mid-game, which is rare for family board games.

We played this with my 4-year-old and my 9-year-old on a rainy afternoon and both stayed interested the whole round. Picking your flower by color, number, or shape is such a simple idea but it keeps everyone thinking, and the bees bouncing around the board got a lot of giggles.
