Bought these for my 4-year-old who constantly breaks regular colored pencils, and the thick jumbo barrels have survived weeks of dropping. The double-sided design means only 6 pencils to keep track of but a full 12 colors, which is perfect for travel.
The double-sided trick is genius—my daughter picks one end for a T-Rex and flips it for a volcano without hunting for another pencil. The jumbo size keeps her little hand steady, and we've got a whole rainbow in just six sticks.
My three-year-old can actually grip these without frustration, which is huge for us. Flipping them over for a new color keeps her engaged way longer than regular pencils, and we've got 12 shades from just 6 sticks.
