Find out what comes in the Rainbow Oil Pastels & Artist Sketchbook Bundle from eeBoo, including the number of pastels, sketchbook details, and who it's best for.
Quick answer
The eeBoo Rainbow Oil Pastels & Artist Sketchbook Bundle includes a box of 36 artist-quality oil pastels and a matching sketchbook, all packaged together at a 10% discount compared to buying separately.
Why bundle pastels with a sketchbook?
Buying the two items together saves you money and ensures you have the right paper for oil pastels. Oil pastels work best on a slightly textured surface that grips the pigment, and the included sketchbook is designed to handle that without bleeding through. If you already own a suitable sketchbook, you might prefer buying just the pastels alone.
Who is this bundle for?
This bundle suits children aged 6 and up who are ready to explore blending and layering colors. It also works well for beginners or hobbyists who want a complete starter set without shopping for separate supplies. Experienced artists may prefer individual pastel brands or larger paper sizes not available in this bundle.
Frequently asked questions
- How many oil pastels are in the bundle?
- The bundle contains 36 oil pastel sticks. They are arranged in a rainbow spectrum inside a sturdy sliding box that also serves as storage.
- What kind of sketchbook is included?
- The bundle pairs the pastels with an eeBoo Artist Sketchbook. The sketchbook has hardcover binding and heavyweight paper suitable for oil pastel, pencil, and light mixed media. Exact page count and dimensions are not specified by the manufacturer, so expect a standard A5 or letter-size sketchbook. If you need a specific paper size or a larger number of pages, check the sketchbook dimensions before purchasing.
- Is the bundle a good value?
- Yes. The bundle price of USD 28.85 is 10% less than buying the pastels and sketchbook separately (catalog comparison price USD 38.99). The discount is modest but worthwhile if you plan to use both items.
- Are the oil pastels safe for kids?
- eeBoo oil pastels are labeled as non-toxic and conform to safety standards for children's art materials. They are designed for ages 6 and up. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children. Always check the packaging for the most current safety certifications.
- Can I use these pastels on other surfaces?
- Yes. Oil pastels work on paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, and even glass. The blendable formula adheres to most porous surfaces. For best results, use a fixative spray if you plan to frame or handle the artwork frequently.
