The flower-choosing part is what makes it click for my four-year-old, since she has to match her bee's color before she can move. We've played it three nights straight and the resilience bit is real, someone's always getting bumped back a space.

My kids actually ask to play this, which never happens with board games. Matching the bees to flowers by color and number keeps my 4-year-old busy while my 7-year-old still strategizes. The pieces have held up fine after a month of rowdy play.

The flower-choosing part is what sold me — my niece picks hers by shape while her brother goes by number, so they both feel like they're winning. Simple enough that nobody needs to reread the rules mid-game, which is rare for family board games.
